ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was painting this floral outside on my friends roof top garden in the suburbs of Chicago, Intense winds were circling around my easel, at times I thought the entire set up would blow over. You can tell by the leaning of the strokes in every direction that Chicago winds had a strong influence. I have always enjoyed working on art that looks alive and full of energy and and this painting is a prime example.
