Growing up in Florida in the 80s, the ocean was a special place where I would go to connect to nature, and be inspired. It represents so many things to me, the ocean as metaphor of the universal whole, and we as individuals are drop of water in the ocean has always appealed to me. I believe it is always in my subconscious, and although I never set out to make images of it in a realistic way, somehow, these images or objects come from within as if they want to exist. I really don't know how it happens. I live in New York City, Brooklyn for the time being, and have made a living self-employed as a graphic designer most of my adult life.
