About The Artwork
La Concha 5 is part of the series of paintings that I am currently working on inspired by Hokusaiś 36 views of Mt Fuji, this is the first watercolour in the series, the previous 4 have been created in oils. This particular scene is one that I see every day in my routine. I am inspired by the Mountainous landscape in Andalucia and the dramatic atmosphere that they create each day, depending upon the light, time of day, and time of Year. Signed and dated on the front.
