La Danse du Désespoir Painting

I am a Thai Man studying at the Art Institute of Chicago in the United States. All of my classmates and I have been given different tasks and one was to pick and artist of interest and mimic the artist style and artistic representation. I picked Pablo Picasso and the period and Theory of Art called Cubism. This is to celebrate February's black history month and represents my emotions if leaving home and having my mother tell me to study art was a mistake and stupid. That it was better to be a Buddhist Monk if I was going to be poor because that helped honor out family. I am a sophmore and havent heard from her since I started. My heart and emotions have become overwhelmed with anxiety and is mirrored or projected into the painting and so the figure dances and fulfill her/my need to release my inner most emotions.
