ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My version of John William Waterhouse's 1888 painting of Tennyson's 'Lady of Shalott poem' Although the model doesn't seem too happy in the boat I like the way he used the landscape to enhance the figure. Again I am trying to emulate the pre-raphelite brotherhood and their attempt to confront the Art world of their time
