About The Artwork

As mathematician, i search for signification of quantum physic. I search in the antique times (500 BC) but also in the renaissance period which is rich of thinkers physicists and alchemists. The philosophical stone, and its differents names is for me a real poetical langage. I hope that you will guess here the marvellous mystery of the physical world. The medium i employ is ink, lapis lazuli and marble powder, on wood. I callygraphy and transfer some illustrations of old alchemy searchers.

Initially trained in mathematics and computer science, I pursued a master's degree in human sciences, Jewish, Muslim and Christian theology at the University of Metz (thesis on 4Q246, an apocalypse of the Dead Sea Scrolls linking it to other traditions). I am constantly extending my research in the field of training, in order to widen the field of creative experimentation. The creative process started 20 years ago in Belgium. It continued in my studio in Geneva, Switzerland, where I worked until 2006. Creator of the Greater Region, I work as much in France as in Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg... Creator and researcher in astronomy, mathematics, science and sensuality, I explore and present different worlds, giving birth to multiple objects and installations. In which the golden section is present. My creations are described as "post-nuclear". My object-proofs-illustrations of various mythologies, tales, or scientific theories, illustrate the Higgs Boson as much as the gravitational waves, as well as the myths of creation or destruction of the world. In the world of technological transmission: I created the concept of Art Connected, which I teach at the AKDT in Libramont, at the Contemporary Art Workshops in Brussels, in Luxembourg and in various exhibitions. I intervene in art schools to transmit this technological knowledge based on the contribution of electronic components in works of art. In the museum world: I organised the MunduM MobiluM MuseuM, a mobile-caravan museum, in 2013 in order to share the connected objects that I create, as well as those of my pupils. Presentation at the festival of Chassepierre, of Mailimailo in St Hubert, of Chiny, of the Tchafournis, of nomadic arts in Brussels (Belgium). In the world of publishing: creator of the MMMM editions, I have been participating in the Brussels book fair since 2011, and in other fairs, thanks to the support of the Service de Livre Luxembourgeois. In the literary world: I have written about ten books which I have published at MMMMM editions and which I regularly present in my studio as a literary event. Interview by Edmond Blattchen (creator of the programmes "Noms de Dieux" -RTBF - Belgium) in 2018.
