ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by the primary forests of Lithuania and Poland. It is about memory, sensation and emotions. The result is an abstraction, a primary forest remembrance, colorful and mysterious. I work with paper and pure pigments (earth, rock, simple and natural materials). Contrary to the rigidity of the canvas, the paper is alive. Water and pigments that I use engage a dialogue with this paper to become an autonomous and living work.
