About The Artwork
Experiencing the bizarre summer of 2020—Covid-19 isolation along with a broken ankle—I wanted to document my thoughts on the world during the pandemic. Although most of the painting takes liberties with the notion of "pandemic" I wanted to create a toxic environment where potential danger lurked at every corner. A mix of fear and ignorance are scattered throughout to resonate with what we have all have witnessed this year
