Vania, based in the Netherlands but originally from Bulgaria is a nationally and internationally known and established artist. She has had an artistic journey that has taken her across borders, with exhibitions in counties including, the Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria and South Africa. "I draw inspiration from the dynamic shapes of our environment, reflecting complex emotions through the language of colours, forms, and composition. My paintings emerge spontaneously as I search for balance and harmony, resisting pre-planning to keep the process engaging. My paintings are defined by layered, colourful combinations of shapes, representing my instinctive colour theory. Exploring the interplay between man-made structures, light, and nature, my works evoke thoughts and emotions without literal depiction. Traveling has challenged and enriched my artistic expression, with colours spontaneously breathing life into each piece, capturing the essence of my initial thoughts and discoveries."
