A vicar rushes to the church through the pretty British countryside on his old bike. His trusty dog accompanies him and sits proudly at the front of the bike in the basket.

'Late again', started as a doodle in my sketchbook one rainy afternoon. I liked the vicar's face so much...and his cute Bassett hound, that I decided to upgrade them to a finished piece.

Acrylic on deep edged box canvas. Signed on the front and varnished for protection.

I am a freelance artist/illustrator living and working in Surrey UK. I have worked as a freelance illustrator/artist for the past few years now, after having a break in my career, to bring up my family. Most of my work has been commission based over the past four years, however recently, I have started to sell my canvases privately also. I was invited to exhibited my work at the Parallax Art Fair on the Kings Road, Chelsea (London) in July 2016 and will taking part in further exhibitions in the coming year.
