"Late hours" is a diptich that reflects the identity and personality through a specific situation. These persons have met in a specific place and time to discuss current topics in culture in society and in everyday life, as well as to relax and feel light-heartedness. Its a small dose of forgotten bohemians in today's fast-paced and tense world. The characters in this work take place in a specific place and time. A world is created that includes a part of one's own life and passion. With peculiar portraits and figural compositions, which depicts the author's experience and observations in work as a bartender in a music club. It is a world from the author's point of view - positive and mundane, destructive and irritating, boring, but breathtaking. These are creative people whom the author met, talked to and who were simply seen as interesting characters. It is witty and gloomy, fun and depressing, it is reality itself. Ones face and body as hes or she is, naked and seen. It is a simple situation, but with it’s dynamism, it would make a person think about himself and his personal life. About the obstacles they have to overcome and the moments that already have been survived. This is a documentation of a moment and a real person in a visual but uncomplicated story, a everyday scene that takes place in a certain space and time.

Justīne Seile-Urtāne specializes in two areas, landscape painting and portrait painting. Using tick colors and expressive brush strokes, she explores light, shade and vibrant colors that's found in nature all around. Portrait painting for Justīne is like idea about time and space, which mirrors reality. For me it’s like obsession for a need to tell a story or to free myself from panic and anxiety, it is like personal liberation from anxiety-inducing thoughts. I consider my paintings to be like a time stamp. In my work I document my own pain, emotions and thoughts that have been depressing me down. It’s like my own personal diary, which without shame, is wide open for anyone who is interested to read. It consists of parts that has made me as a person that I am today, therefore the viewers can find my old and forgotten scars, as well as fresh wounds that have not jet healed. Occasionally using symbolism and mysterious puzzles, I call the viewers for a comfortable conversation and common laughter of the awkward attempts to become better in term- life. I am my own strict critic. I always try to raise my self made bar higher. I try to improve my art everyday, and sometimes there is never enough. I love to have a good laugh about myself, about my fears and failures, but all in all, it doesn’t change the fact that I have been truly hurt and scared about the events I have painted.
