About The Artwork

Sunset in a bamboo garden in Kamakura, historic city of Japan. The intensity of the light gives us a dreamlike atmosphere that dominates the canvas. The production is based on the "Al fresco" pictorial technique. The colors are prepared with natural pigments "Iwa enogu", the same ones used in the traditional Japanese painting "Nihonga". The pigments are mixed with tree resin, which gives a unique transparency and a power of vitality to the colors.
