"Le ciel dans une chambre" Painting

Born in Barcelona 1965. I feel that abstraction is a good way to show an inside view of life. Ismael Cuevas Jordan (1965) began his artistic career in Barcelona by producing paintings and drawings in a realistic style. "Grisos" was the first individual exhibition showing pieces of charcoal drawings mixed with musical sounds. This experience was a collage placed between the visual sensations and different musical rhythms. Based on the realistic works, the figures of Catapsi and Espaurides were present on his paintings representing peculiar personages of the artist's world. As defined by the criticiens, the artist shows a very inner world in his paints. Textures used in the present works, are as a continuous searching of the reality through different ways. Last works of the artist are influenced continuously by the birth and the death, all around the different situations of the life.
