In this contemporary landscape, which could be likened to American colourfield painting, colour is the main subject. The central part is enlivened by an almost golden hue to evoke the longed-for object, abundance. Abundance is a very broad term, and everyone will have their own definition of it. It remains a luminous element in the minds of all human beings. This almost philosophical creation is built around contrasts of temperature and depth. I never use black in my paintings and I obtain the darkest tones by juxtaposing layers. This technical particularity allows for truly unique modulations in the darker parts of his creations. Resolutely modern, this unique landscape will fit elegantly into your home. If you wish, a black frame will bring out the best in this beautiful work of colour. Notes on the creations : -Linen canvas assembled on a stretcher keys -Canvas edges painted in satin black for a perfect finish -Ready to be hung (string attached to zinc-plated pegs) -The creations of the Bright series are protected by a satin varnish for oil painting -The creations are signed on the front and back -The creations are titled, dated and certified by the artist on the back

Eric Winzenried, French professional painter born in 1964, lives in southern Brittany where he installed in 1995 his workshop in Auray (Morbihan). A painter of color in the contemporary landscape. Influenced directly by his environment, he has long worked around the natural landscape and on all the remarkable sites of the region of Brittany. In the early 2000s, as his more classical landscape work was being modernized towards synthesis and color, he began his first contemporary serie. It is thus after more than twenty years of investigations around the color that he presents this work in constant evolution and with a strong artistic identity.
