Leda and the Swan Painting

The myth of Leda is one of the most symbolic tales of the classical world, of which we have numerous reworkings that affect the different dimensions of art: literature, painting, music interpret the power of eroticism, centered on the image of the Swan. Leda and the Swan is a story full of sensuality and symbolism, which goes beyond the allegorical treatment of the myth, releasing a series of meanings open to numerous reflections. In this personal interpretation, Leda commands the swan which is imprisoned in the woman's hands. The artist found inspiration from a work of American artist Hazel Miller- The color background is a gold acrilic.
