Art Description

Painting: Oil, Acrylic on Canvas.

The painting is inspired by the Greek myth of Leda and the swan, when the Greek god Zeus seduced Leda in the form of a swan. It is influenced by an engraving by Michelangelo of the subject. There are elements of humour, darkness and transformation, of bodies blending into an abstracted landscape. I travelled through the place in Greece where it was supposed to have happened.
The painting is on linen.
