"Lemon Tree" Geometric Pattern (03.2018) Tile Design Contemporary Art Painting

"You can count the seeds in a lemon but you cannot count the lemons in a seed." The growth of a seed into a tree into a lemon... So many factors are involved in this process and so much mystery. Every part of the natural world is intrinsically linked, it is this concept that I have attempted to visualize here; showing the connections between each element just as each individual leaf makes a tree or each cell works to build an entire organism. The spring of 2018 with it's blooming fruit trees around San Diego inspired the production of this painting. No masking-tape was used during it's creation; precise, straight brush strokes make up the entire artwork. The painting has a smooth satin varnish and is wired ready to hang. Signed "lee", dated "03'18", bottom right corner.
