ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There are so many scenes at the beach while you are enjoying yourself and taking your mind away from daily life. The viewer has x-ray vision and can see, up to a prudent point, underneath the clothes of the two fabulous players. Are they lovers, mother and son, friends, neighbors? O e always gets curious about relationships. Whose dog is it: his, hers, theirs? Will the little fierce dog let them play or do they like so much playing in a trio with him. The sky is getting cloudy and it may rain, the sea seems to be darker now. Enjoy the many other stories one can weave. This painting was part of the solo exhibit “Painting stories from Pueblo Eden” at the Museo Regional de Arte, Maldonado, Uruguay, 2019.

Another of her drawings was selected for the cover of a record. Before her 10th birthday she sold prints of her drawings and donated funds to Children's Hospitals. Throughout her career she focused on figurative ink drawings with intricate details. Sabina has been influenced by Henri Rousseau, Caleb Ives Bach, Marrnyula Munungurr, Mulkun Wirrpanda, and Francisco Toledo. She treasures early American folk art, Pre-columbian, Aboriginal Australian, and Native American art.
