And I'll meet you at the cemetery gates. The red in this piece was a complete surprise to me, the green and white had paired and created together so naturally, so peacefully. There was a sense that something was missing, something to make the scene come alive, and red almost pinpoints moments of pain in the serenity. Almost the feeling of bleeding to feel alive. I don't add hanging hardware to any of my pieces to allow maximum flexibility for displaying anywhere.
