ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"I am thankful for my struggle because without it I wouldn't have stumbled across my strength." This piece was created in the days following the passing of my grandfather, who was proceded in death by my father. It depicts the emotional struggle I experienced in his final days on earth knowing that he would transcend and be reunited with my dad - peaks of happiness for their reunion, the valleys of sorrow for missing my father, the drips for tears fallen and the lines showing his break from earth. Through my emotional struggle while creating this piece, I found my strength.
