ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The picture "Light" is an interpretation of H. G. Wells' "War of the Worlds", adapted to the situation of 24.04., 6 months earlier, when the invasion began. A light that doesn't always have to be positive, does it? The superficially "sudden" attack and the extermination of civilians made me draw this comparison. In the painting, one looks through a blood- and rus-smeared window at the scene in front of us. An invasion of the overpowering machines that have no pity and no feelings. In the back right you can see a pair of high-rise buildings. The machine on the far left is just swivelling its beam to the right. It seems as if she is aiming directly at the viewer in the next moment. Initially, it was said that the Russian army would carry out a liberation mission, but the operations killed a lot of people and they continue to do so. It's the same with the light of the machines: From far away, it may look tempting to see who you're sitting in the dark, but when the light hits you, it can immediately extinguish you. And, to quote H. G. Wells here, "If we don't end the war, the war will end us."

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Thematically, I explore modern spiritualism. Time of crisis is also time for hope, for the rebirth of the proverbial phoenix from the ashes. “Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all” Emily Dickinson In its effect, my distinctly expressionist contemporary art style approaches maximalism, with the ambiguity and profundity of the finished artworks being most important to me. I achieve this through various techniques, whereby I am using the dripping technique, the impasto technique and the sgraffito technique. I experiment a lot and use unusual materials and tools, such as the 3D printer and metal chips from a lathe.
