About The Artwork

Always young and eternally restless, Spring constantly traveled the world and did not stay anywhere for a long time. Once, during her wanderings, she met a young man named Lily of the Valley - and she liked him so much that she gave him a great love of life. But she did not stay with him for long - she had to leave, and she left. Legends about the Lily of the Valley tell that he wept so bitterly for his beloved who had left him, that his tears turned into graceful, small flowers similar to white bells, and the blood of the heart gave the berries a red tint. So, the first lily of the valley appeared on earth.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
