Based in Los Angeles, artist Peter Halasz explores sensual dreamscapes, liminal and fluid states of consciousness, materiality and spirit through the mediums of paint, sound, video and text, often utilizing all these elements in the creation of immersive environments and experiences. Oil paintings range in technique from extremely sophisticated renderings in pristine glass-like surfaces to the more brusque and gestural, with text, sound and video pieces following suit.
