The past two years have allowed us to reflect on the idea of isolation and how it can shape our behaviors and our identities. It also helped us explore ourselves, understand who we are, and rebuild our inner relationships. In the case of an artist, the intire journey during an isolation can trigger the magic of creativity. An interior dimension, leads her to explore new languages and reach the beauty of an artwork. The whole art project "Rebirth" created by the Egyptian artist Rasha Amin is result of more than two years of the artist's life lived in southern Italy during the pandemic. All the works created during this period of isolation represent a true rebirth. The energy of the artworks in the exhibition is actually evidence that as long as there is life, there is hope.

Rasha Amin is an Egyptian multidisciplinary artist based in Italy, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Helwan University Cairo / Egypt in 2003. Her work has been exhibited internationally in both solo and group shows, combining painting, drawing, installation, and experimental video art. Amin has found an intersection point between them and subsequently developed her own visual and conceptual vocabulary. Her body of work is about the idea of deconstructing different aspects in her life through the themes of time, memory, and emotions and rebuild them again to create a new connection and different meaning that explores a new existence.
