Sunset over the sea. This artwork is created with endless straight lines using a pattern and rhythm which results in contrast between very thin lines and wider ones, these lines vibrate against each other creating depth and movement. Each line of every colour is painted one at a time across the canvas,this process is repeated over and over until it is just right. The the side edges are painted in deep black. Coated with protective UV varnish and signed on the back. Ready to hang. 91.5 x 61 cm / 36 x24 inches aprox.

Stefan Fierros grew up in Madrid,Spain.His parents,architect and classical dancer/artist left a strong artistic influence since childhood. He has lived around the world in Spain,Mexico,Paris and England. This has created a very mixed cultural background which has influenced his work. Working in Painting & Drawing his work is mainly Abstract but also often uses the subject of landscape and nature. His main interest is in 'the nature of the spiritual' and different 'states of being' he experiences in nature etc. He studied art at the Institute of Fine Art & Design in Southampton.England. His work can be found in private collections in the UK and abroad.
