But eventually it is the best to find a person who will be your mirror. Remember only in another person’s heart can you truly see yourself and the presence of God within you. In this painting, I have tried to show the importance of solitude over loneliness. It is one of the rules of love to have solitude because in this case you are alone without feeling lonely. This means that you sit in solitude in the company of Allah. This cannot be called loneliness. In the painting, I have shown an empty chair symbolic for solitude. The pigeon is hovering over the chair, and it looks as if it is throwing light on the chair. The fairy-like presence of the pigeon is symbolic for the fact that a person in solitude is not alone. He is in the presence of some divine being represented by the pigeon and the light thrown on the chair by the pigeon. However, you should search for someone who can act as a mirror for you. This refers to a saintہللا ولی who has made himself pure like a mirror and as a result you see yourself in him. You not only see yourself but also Allah in him, as He is reflected in his heart. This is the best cure for loneliness.
