ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I wanted to convey the strength in women and looking up for hope. In the mad world of the pandemic it felt like the subject was breathing in all of the hope left in the air, ready to take a deep breath and move on! I used bright and vibrant colours as a further show of all that is positive and happy in the world around us. The brightness is shown shining down on the subject as if from heaven above, as if God is looking down on her and aiding her in her journey.
