Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

Ancient sculptures have been exuding its energy of desire, even destroyed for thousand years.
If we would be able to call the desire ’ART', and move my mind, Is there any difference between Modern art and Ancient art?
Is it meaningful to us to group world arts into systems of classification, known as periods?
The only thing I believe as a fact is that 'a desire towards shapes' are always consistent through the ages.
