Painting: Oil, Graphite on Paper.
Sometimes during childhood and adolescence we feel lost. Not because of the problems we can carry, but because it is part. It is a period of discovery and self knowledge that sometimes involves some insecurity, some fears, some loneliness. Not always for the lack of attention or accompaniment, but because they are inherent feelings to the process of growth, knowledge and maturation.
I intend to represent with this artwork, not through the look but through the posture of this child, this feeling of being lost, even empty. Growing up is not only synonymous of agitation, conflict, restlessness, it may also be a period when we try to understand where our inner peace resides and thus seek a more liberating and less anxious way. The soft colors and textures are representative of this serenity, of these moments of our own.
