ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a pyrography (wood-burning) handmade art-work in combination with shallow carving. It's a art-work from the series of artworks that I've started in 2008. The name of the series of my works is "Portraits of musicians" ... Lou Reed was an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He was the guitarist, vocalist, and principal songwriter of the Velvet Underground. Rolling Stone magazine voted Reed's 1989 New York album the 19th best of the 1980s. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time included two albums by Reed as a solo artist: Transformer and Berlin
