This Oil on plywood painting is based on patterns etched onto desktops at a Railway Engineering plant in Perth that were discarded to make way for 'progress' .Merging an interest in decayed emulsions produced by expired Polaroid film with the geometric patterns found on these desks 'Lovat' is the result of this exploration.
