Love Vibes III Painting

Viktoria Ganhao, born in 1971 in Kyiv, Ukraine, is an independent artist currently living in Portugal. She was raised in an artistic family, and her creativity was encouraged from an early age. She worked in the Fashion Industry for 17 years, pursued an entrepreneurial career, lived in 7 countries, and traveled worldwide. In 2016 she decided to focus on becoming a full-time artist. Ganhao's works can best be described as constant discovery and seeking of the unknown; they are feelings and emotions captured in painting through bold brushstrokes or multiple layers of colors applied by a palette knife. She plays with contrasts, chaos and peace, abstraction, and figuration. Her multi-layered, with countless details imperceptible at first glance, paintings immerse the viewer into their inner world, into a harmonious, meditative state that allows them to understand themselves better. Her work is about abstract perception, something you can feel but not necessarily see, but it is there. This way, the abstract nature of her art invites the viewer to develop their interpretation of the work. Her painting process is intuitive, and she enjoys creative freedom in this way of working because she believes that art is about freedom. She incorporates many different styles, media, and techniques, such as acrylics, pigments, oils, graphite, and ink. Ganhao's work has been shown internationally in numerous exhibitions and art fairs, featured in publications, and taken part in notable private and public collections worldwide. She continues actively showing her art to a different audience, as viewers' feedback is always a huge source of inspiration.
