This painting emerged in Jumeirah in winter, from the subconscious mind, in the form of active processing of a tumultuous relationship on paper. As I do not have a mental image or plan when I start painting, I only tune into my inner space and to the music I play in the background, allowing the feelings to take over. This artwork is one of my favorites, two others from the same series are already sold to the same collector in London. After layering color ink and allowing it to dry, I felt it was time to let go and see what had emerged! There is a couple, and the other may be pregnant. The other has something in his hands, perhaps a bellow, trying to keep the fire of love alive. Behind the couple are their "shadows," their past, roots, history, parents, grandparents, culture, conditioning, generational traumas, and DNA's knocking and drilling in their heads. When two people meet, it's not only the two of you; your shadows and past are also present in the relationship. Indian Ink on paper and in a white box frame. Ready to hang with hardware included.

It is all about the process." "The more I accept spontaneity in the creative process, the more freedom I feel in my life."
