Art Description

Painting: Oil, Spray Paint on Canvas.

This title comes from a quote from Ralph Ellison in Invisible Man: ‘Who knows but that, on the lower frequencies, I speak for you? The linen canvas is made from fine quality long stem flax from Belgium and weighs only 500 grams per square meter. It is naturally dried after soaking without any alkaline rinse. It is soft, thin, and silky. The thick box wood frame is made of fir which grows in the Yangtze area of southern China. High rainfall and rich soil make fir trees that grow straight.
