Italian challenger Luna Rossa takes advantage of some clean wind to sit high on her foils and outpace the defender Team New Zealand. It’s a while since I’ve sailed and certainly never in something like these magnificent machines, but I love painting the action as I see it in an expressionist style. This original expressionist painting, Luna Rossa 1, has rather intriguing mark making with a vibrant palette making it a perfect nautical statement piece even for the non yachty.
