ECO-ARTIST | MICHELE MORATA Michele Morata is a 24 year full-time award-winning environmental Fine Artist, Sculptor, and New Media Artist, whose work is currently being collected throughout the U.S. and internationally thru exclusive Fine Art galleries, shows, exhibits, and the internet. She has worked with over 150 imported organic texture mediums and considers herself an 'eco friendly' multi-niche artist. Michele uses recyclable and/or organic mediums and water-based oils with no added chemicals in almost all her paintings including new media. She combines her 2-D & 3-D technical, artistic, and research skills, to create one-of-a-kind contemporary paintings & commissions. Inventions include archival glazes and coatings which are water-soluble with no harsh solvents added - patents pending. ARTIST STATEMENT: Everyone has something they can do, which no one else can do. Every person can give a gift to the world, that no one else can give, the discovery of which lies sometimes buried within one's soul. One of my mother's dreams was to be a professional artist, but she lacked confidence in herself and her talent. Before she transitioned, she told me that she felt as if she had never "really lived." This had a profound impact on my life. After that, I made a lifetime promise to continue to paint in honor of my mother, to learn how to live my authentic creative truth, and to encourage others in the journey to discover who they really are. My life mission is to bring peace & positivity to our world through my creative talents ... and one way I accomplish this vision is thru my colorful canvases. I feel blessed to have a very large mastered painting range from abstract to impressionism and I am spirit led. Therefore, I do not believe in confining myself to 1 artistic genre. Thank you for supporting the collective dream of all creative artists, past, present, and future. * 2024 ~ Under (4) Museum Reviews
