Sandro Brasil is a visual artist and muralist from Ceará, Brazil. His passion for the arts began in childhood, where he showed a talent and fascination for vibrant colors and expressive drawings. His quest to improve his skills led him to dive into the world of comic books and illustrations, constantly seeking to refine his techniques. In 2007, a news article about street art and graffiti caught his attention, sparking a new phase in his career. Captivated by urban murals and street art, Sandro immersed himself in this world, researching techniques, materials, and renowned artists in the scene. In 2010, Sandro got an offer to work with airbrushes on T-shirts, exploring graffiti themes. This was a turning point in his journey, motivating him to create his first murals and further believe in his artistic talent and vocation. Life brought challenges, such as the loss of his mother in 2015, a moment that led him to reconsider his priorities. Leaving his formal job, Sandro found refuge and a mission in art. His Facebook page became a platform to share his work, which started gaining visibility, leading him to explore Realism and paint increasingly impactful murals. In 2018, his art made a significant leap with the mural "Modern Gods" at the State University of Ceará, a piece that blends Greek mythology with contemporary elements in an explosion of color and form that captured media and public attention. Invitations for large-scale projects followed, establishing Sandro as one of the leading muralists in the region. Sandro Brasil's unique style is marked by his bold use of colors and the blend of realism and pop art, creating works that capture the essence of everyday events and the world around him. He draws deep inspiration from three major themes: Sports, Cinema, and Rap Music. His dedication to creating original and impactful works has made him one of the most recognized artists in Fortaleza, with impressive murals spread across the city and invitations for large-scale projects. Currently, Sandro Brasil continues his artistic journey, seeking inspiration in every experience and sharing his life story through his works, which transcend the simple concept of art to become true expressions of the soul.
