Working vessel installing wind-turbines in the Tees bay off Redcar, England. You would not be wrong; if you thought this painting reminded you of a famous sunset by J.M.W. Turner. Over Teesside’s Redcar Blast Furnace we often get some stunning sunsets. On one occasion I came across this seen which reminded me very much of Turners “Fighting Temeraire”. After completing this painting it was seen by a collector of mine who put me in touch with the wife of the ships owner who purchased the painting as gift for his office. This is a fine example of the type of commissions I receive.
