Surely, this is probably a perception distorted by the passage of time of a walk along the shores of a lake in Geneva. The Jet D’Eau rises metres above the water while the wind carries its breeze to the old lighthouse. This is an abstract expression of what memory retains of that first time there. A...

Collect all the memories and a ashes that a head guards. Ground and paste made into oil so they last just not for a lifetime. Experiment with natural pigments and handmade oils. Take as inspiration the range of shades that heaven gives us and a small and reduced set of colors that we can find on the earth we walk on. Starting from a white background base and a reduced chromatic range. A game of light and dark are what give life to these works. Trying to work the luminosity of the  paint emulating one of the basic principles of impressionism without forgetting the total abstraction of the work and the absolut absence of the techniques. Capture the light and the moment regardless of the form. Experiment with lighting and how it changes the color of the reality in which it is refracted until achieving balance and beauty in the painting. Without forgetting again the essence and abstract nature of all the work. Also amazed by the magic of light in the deep darkness of many of the great works of the Baroque and simulate that darkness and that light in small, medium and large volumes. The colors black and white are always present for what they represent. Rest of the them finish forming and the painting. Sometimes with subtlety and others with clear impudence add some color or tone that represents the country that reflect¡s the work. The true chromatic range and the live colors of the place are altered by the perception of memory together with the imagination and make them recognizable with reality only by details. Painting realize that not everything is black or white and that in all aspects of life there are nuances. Sometimes take the brush and without thinking twice blur the canvas randomly like a happy child. Whatever it's in mind is reduced to a small unrecognizable part of what ends being the final work. Some are set apart. Letting time play in its favor and until remember again what was the objective at the beginning and what were the sensations that pushed hands to throw the first stain on that canvas and re-moisten the memory. From the simplicity of a random initial stroke, to the complexity of a serene, conscious and sometimes contradictorily unexpected final composition. Forward brushstrokes with the mind set on the past and strokes of the spatula. Layer after layer. Creating volumes. Intentionally all and a few nonsense. Trying to find meaning in art is something completely relative and changing according to the perception and mind of each person.
