ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Leonardo's characters are often present in my works, it so happened that COVID very strongly hooked on Italy one of my favorite countries. It was painful and sad to watch how the Italians heroically and steadfastly fought the pandemic. The work is depicted in black and white, and only the Madonna's cloak is depicted in blue, this is a symbol of purity and hope for recovery and a bright future for the whole world. The symbolic toy of a baby in the form of COVID is the reality of existing being.

Tatar Valeriy Vasilievich, born in 1964 Ukraine, USSR. He began to paint since childhood. From 18 to 21 he served in the navy in the city of Leningrad. He worked in the art plant of the city of Donetsk and the city of Zhdanov Ukraine. He executed orders for monumental painting, mosaics, bas-relief. He wrote about 400 paintings and more than 500 drawings.Since 2014 I have been living in Austria.
