ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I paint my portraits while listening to the music of artist that I am painting. This inspires the bold, acidic colours, and the high contrast. I wanted to capture the Madonna in a classic outfit and time, performing one of her sultry moves while on stage. Try listening to your favorite Madonna tune, while gazing at this piece and you will see where the inspiration comes from. Note: I sign and date all of my pieces on the back of the canvas, as well as sign the front. The frame is hand made very rough painted back wood.
