About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by beautiful pink and white Magnolia trees that I saw on my walks in nearby Botanic gardens. The Magnolia tree in the painting is reclining over a blue pond with some Magnolia petals scattered over the water. The different shades of pinks and blues have a calming and soothing effect. The painting is done with visible expressive brushstrokes. The canvas can be framed or hang without framing. It is painted with the paint going over the edges so that it provides a 3D modern look if not framed. The painting is signed in the left bottom corner.
