ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is kind of a dream, kind of a memory of a day in my childhood with my sisters, and also inspired by a photo I had seen - two girls in the yellow field, with wings. I find myself wanting to paint things with color and hope, most especially in this year of trouble which is 2020. My husband, my art and grandchildren all bring me joy, but my art keeps me sane.
