Only at the age of 70 did I fully dedicate my passion for the arts, especially photography, digital art and watercolor. At the beginning, I have explored the use of digital resources to the transformation of photos, looking for a technique that would result in the softening of lines, shapes and collors and the creation of graceful and dreamlike images. I got the best results with photos of female nudes; photos with crude and vulgar eroticism have been transformed into sensual, delicate and exciting images. You can see it in my Collecction Digital Art. Sometimes, I scan some of my watercolors paintings to which I apply the digital manipulation techniques developed previously, and some results are amazing. In my portfolio you can compare the original watercolor paintings and the digital versions. I think that creativity is the exploration of new techniques without fear of failure. I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In my paintings, I try to capture and express the lights and colors of a tropical environment. I think the watercolor allows me to express these colors and lights in a simple and harmonious way. My my favorite themes are landscapes, seascapes, flowers, fish and birds.
