ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Three mandarins from the orchard in Wakayama prefecture, Japan. Having spent many months in the orchard, my works are inspired by the beauty and simplicity of nature. In this painting, I particularly like the contrast between the quiet deep blue and the vivid orange that catches the eye, as well as the luster of the oil paint. The artwork has a cord set at the back so it can be hanged straight away and without framing.
