I was born and raised in France. I also lived in England, Scotland and Canada, before migrating to Japan, where I now live with my family. All this movement and all the places I lived in gave me a complex set of values and references where I drew inspiration that grew and changed shape along the way. I am particularly interested in finding the spots of beauty that are to be found everywhere around us. I feel a profound respect for all life and am a vegan.
While studying literature, languages and education, I joined a few drawing/painting classes along the way. My only formal class was the oil painting studio course I took over one year at Temple University, Japan campus (Tokyo). My professor there gave me confidence and showed me that my strength was in colors. Never mind being able to draw! From then on I focused on using colors intuitively and my passion for painting has been growing since then.
