Liz is an Australian-born Sydney based. Her artworks are based on a variety of different aspects of the Australian life as seen with her artworks of beachscapes and high country series as well as observations locally and abroad. Most artworks tend to feature Australian wildlife and botany, as she feels she always had an affinity with animals. Liz has featured in the ArtEdit Magazine, Best of Flora and Fauna , 2018. Her artworks are painted with the intention to either highlight natures in conservation/humanity in mind, or provide story telling as inspired by many impressionists namely Van Gogh, or even Elioth Gruner's Spring Frost. Inspiration is also drawn from love of graphic artists like Banksy in satire and exploring story telling and harmony as seen in many woodblock and watercolour paintings such as Hokusai and the Ukiyo-e. Liz is creates with intention a contemporary Australian story telling lense in her works. After a career in investment banking with a Masters in Commerce from UNSW , she completed Diploma of Visual Arts from Northbridge Visual Arts School (2015) and attended National Art School, Julian Ashton and Art Est art courses amongst many other art short courses around Sydney to develop her art. Further Liz completed training as a Volunteer Art guide with Art Gallery of NSW that enhanced her artistic education, howeve are evaluating time, her artworks and time in the studio is a pressing priority along with a busy family life with a lovely bordoodle. On her days out of the studio she enjoys outdoor activities including travelling, hiking, horse riding and kayaking that continue influence her artworks in connection with nature. **All care is taken to protect the environment in making this work. Work is packaged carefully using recycled materials, making sure it arrives with you in perfect condition whilst not creating more landfill.
