About The Artwork

March of the malignant spirit was a dream .I saw the warriors marching, heard the sounds of the drums beating as there pounding feet hit the sand,The dark blue shadow drifted above the trees under the moonlight. They carried pouches of rust colored dust and monkey tails. I have been experimenting with unique pigments and different mediums. I want to express how we are all in touch with our ancestors, whether in dream or meme or prose and even in the back of our unconscious minds, as we are all connected by the blood.

Tarinn Adaria Schafer (TAS) is a dynamic and visionary artist whose life-long passion for creating has resulted in a body of work that is both inspiring and thought-provoking. TAS is known for her bold, abstract paintings, stunning collage pieces, and intricate 3D sculptures. Her art is heavily influenced by the Abstract Expressionism of the 1940s, and in the 1950s assemblage art of Louise Nevelson, and the profound works of the women artists of the 60s with Helen Frankenthaler; June Leaf, Joan Mitchell, Alma Thomas ... TAS has a unique ability to take these classic techniques and infuse them with her own contemporary flair. As a Warrior and a Survivor, TAS's art is a powerful expression of her personal journey and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. As a former member of the Women's Artists Group in San Francisco, TAS has been a vocal advocate for female artists and continues to use her art as a platform for social and political commentary. Since moving to Germany in 2021, Tarinn has been exploring new media and techniques and her art has taken on a new level of depth and complexity. TAS's works have been exhibited. With her unique vision, unyielding passion, and unwavering commitment to her craft, TAS's work will most certainly leave a lasting impact on the art world for years to come.
