About the Artist

Nadya Chereshneva

Portugal

Hi! I’m Nadia Chereshneva, my alias is Abudabeba. I was born and grown in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Now I live in Porto, Portugal. I graduated Rostov’s M.B. Grekov art college (2007), then I graduated Art and Graphic faculty of South Federal University (2012). About 12 years I worked as a web designer and digital illustrator. In 2020 I decided to work with my own creative projects and become an artist. I began to get involved in ceramic. In 2021 I completed the Pokidayev pottery course and Glaze Chemistry course of Polina Potapova. Due to the relocation in 2022 I paused ceramic and I returned to painting again.

Painting is my passion, I love a lot impressionism, postimpressionism and contemporary art. I’m working with my plant painting project, this theme is important for me now.
