ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I gather much of my landscape inspiration from my bike excursions. On a long ride skirting both Indiana and Michigan; I saw this beautiful marsh. I like it in particular because the scene layered water, marsh; and forest. I love the way the grasses contrast with the texture of the trees. I work with in-stretched canvas on the wall; this method gives me unlimited flexibility in size and compositional choices.
